In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 air travel apps in Ghana showed varied performance metrics on a unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

PassionAir experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. The highest downloads were in the week of October 3, reaching approximately 873, but this number dropped to 226 by the last week of December.

Ethiopian Airlines saw a peak in downloads at the beginning of October with 871 downloads, followed by a general decline. However, it maintained a steady number of active users, starting from 1.5K in late September and maintaining around 1.3K to 1.5K throughout the quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker had a consistent performance in terms of downloads and active users. Weekly downloads peaked in early October at 713, while active users remained stable at around 1.5K to 1.8K during the quarter. The app also generated a modest revenue, peaking at $64 in late September.

Emirates showed a steady decline in weekly downloads from 720 in early October to 221 by the end of December. Active users also saw a gradual decline, starting from 1.3K in early October to 869 by the end of the year.

Finally, Qatar Airways had a more variable performance. Downloads peaked at 546 in early October but dropped to 191 by the end of December. Active users showed a peak of 1.7K in early October, gradually decreasing to around 1.3K by the end of the quarter.
